Catalogue for the special rooms at the 22nd Sao Paulo Biennial. The China/ Hong Kong section was curated by Johnson Chang Tsong-zung. This section featured silk tapestries by Deng Lin; works by political pop artists Li Shan, Wang Guangyi and Yu Youhan; and figurative paintings by Fang Lijun, Liu Wei and Zhang Xiaogang.

The catalogue includes preface by Edemar Cid Ferreira, Chairman of the Sao Paulo Biennial, artist biographies and texts by curators of the participating countries.
