Alexandre Vogler (b. 1973) is part of a generation of artists from Rio de Janeiro whose artistic trajectory is clearly shaped by the gradual dissolution of the boundaries between high and low art in the realm of cultural production, and by the defining experience of the emergence of street art in this regard in particular.
In this way, Vogler uses matchboxes labels of the 50’ to discuss the affirmation of the Constructivism in Brazil in “The Triumph of Brazilian Constructive Project”.
