In the 2018 painting Create a World That You Cannot Hug, Chen Xiaoyun gives the octopus a boss’s identity, who is sitting on a leather chair and looking down at the giant dam - a symbol of the proud modern civilization as well as the potential crisis that people must remain vigilant about.
