Catalogue of the first Lianzhou International Photo Festival, an event that attempts to approach the idea of holding a photographic exhibition in a small city and to embark on an exploration of the past and present of Chinese photography. The theme of this edition of the festival is Dual Vision, Lianzhou Beginnings. It is a visual examination of issues surrounding ethnicity, regional culture and globalization in an effort to reveal the duality within human history.
