This catalogue was produced for conceptual photography exhibition 'Images Telling Stories' held in 1998. The recent history and current socio-cultural milieu of China are re-visited through manipulated photographic imageries. The exhibition was toured to various cities in China, including: Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Changchun, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
This catalogue includes an article written by Zhu Qi, curator of the exhibition, and biographies of the 12 participating artists.
