The present catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition of the above title, which was at the same time the first presentation of Chinese contemporary art in Poland. The works chosen offer a variety of art forms, ranging from painting and sculpture to installation and video art, aiming to provide an overview of the current Chinese art scene to the Polish public.

The three accompanying essays provide a social and economic background for the understanding of the development of contemporary Chinese Art. Artist biography is included.
