'melbourne connection asia' is a year long programme held in Melbourne, bringing the work of 25 contemporary artists from 5 Asian cities to Melbourne audiences. The work is shown in large scale poster format and shown in city transport shelters in a series of exhibitions. The present publication brings together the works these artists together with essays about the project and about building platforms in the region for exchanges.
