This is a catalogue of works by contemporary Chinese artist, Wang Guangyi, for the exhibition at Hanart TZ Gallery (Hong Kong) and the 22nd International Bienal of Sao Paulo (Brazil). The theme of this series of works, entitled Picture Calendar, is Eastern European politics after the fall of the Russian communist empire. Once again, Wang, one of the most prominent representatives of the 'Political Pop' style in the Post-1989 China art scene, returns to power politics and its propaganda. Artist biography is included.
