Introduction:
The present catalogue was published on the occasion of Feng Mengbo's solo exhibition at STPI Singapore Tyler Print Institute in 2006. Feng's "computer" paintings are often considered to be clever commentary on life, not only in China but also outside in the wide and wild technological world. To Feng, computer software was ultimately the creation of the human brain and therefore the robotic images were merely a reflection of human sentiments. With these images, the artist was able to comment on the world of politics, of violence, of suspense, of battles, of good and of evil. The present catalogue includes artist writings, essay by Johnson Chang and artist biography.
