Exhibition catalogue to OPEN2003, the sixth edition of the annual sculptural show organized by Arte Communications, Venice. Held at the Lido di Venezia during the Mostra Internazionale di Arte Cinematografica. The theme of 2003 is the merging of art and cinema. Along with the demographic participation of artists from countries as diverse as Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Morocco, Italy, France and the United States, OPEN2003 also engages the partipation of directors and movie celebrities who are invited to dismantle the conventions and boundaries of art and cinema, and the forging of "new forms of artistic expression."
