Introduction:
' Since the bringing in of photography, various changes have taken place in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China. As economic and cultural exchanges among the three regions are on the increase, we can now observe the cultural, historical and political similarities and differences more easily. This exhibition attempts to put together the photographic works of the three Chinese-speaking regions, to compare and contrast the ideological and cultural similarities and differences that are revealed in art expressions.' - abstract taken from foreword by Oscar Ho Hing-kay, Exhibition Director of the Hong Kong Arts Centre. Also included in this catalogue are artists' biographies.
