This is the catalogue of a joint exhibition that explores urban culture, urban lifestyles and images through a variety of media. The exhibition space expands the traditional notion of the "exhibition hall" to include the many areas and surfaces of the city that comprise its "skin": electronic billboards, street signs, light boxes, street surfaces, skies, and traditional forms of media, such as newspaper and television. The representational strategies of these works is an attempt that enable the audience to experience the many ways in which our daily lives are connected to urban images. Images of works are accompanied by artist statements and biographies.
