We gladly announce that ShangHART Archive will present selected animation works screening and talk on April.16th collaborating with China Contemporary Animation Art Archive, the first academic institution focus on Chinese contemporary and experiment animation arts.
Experiement is the "body", comtemporary is the "usage", animation is the "pleasure". According to the digital technology development, everyone has the access to express themselves by animation. This time, we select 12 works with highly era characteristics, diversified creation backgraoud and cross-disciplinary angles to initiate the discussion of "another possibility" with contemporary animation arts. We also invite Xue Feng - Executive curator of China contemporaryAnimation Art Archive and Shen Jie - Young Artist based in Shanghai share their thoughts about how to use animation art as their eyes, minds to raise questions and even try to answer the questions.
