Sun Xun's 3D animation work "Time Spy" will be shown for the first time in China

1 July 2017, electronic billboards in Times Square will light up for Sun Xun's latest 3D animation work Time Spy at 11.30pm to midnight (New York Time). This screening project will be on view till 31 July. Coinciding with the art project in New York Times Square, the screening project in China will be taking place at ShanghART Gallery west bund space on 8 July 2017.Time Spy will be shown for the first time in China.

During the screening days, first-hand live recording of the events from New York will be released. And audience will be privileged to take a “peek” at how Sun Xun works in his studio with a documentary "Into Nowhere". It's worth mentioning that Sun Xun’s other significant 3D works Magician Party and Dead Crow will also be on the playlist. Last but not least, a series of derivatives of Sun Xun’s work Time Spy will be soon available. Please stay tuned for more information.

The one week screening project will open to public on 10 July. Due to the limited space capacity, the daily reservations will only open for 50 people from 10 to 16 July, so please book in advance. The projection space is changed from the terrace to ShanghART Archive due to the monsoon weather. For more details, please check below.
