Nestled in historic residences built during the Republic of China, the Baiziting Art Center Nanjing presents its inaugural exhibition “New Look”, featuring works by Birdhead, Chen Wei, Han Feng, Hu Jieming, He Wei, Jiang Pengyi, Liang Shaoji, Liu Weijian, Liu Yi, Mao Yan, Shen Fan, Sun Xun, Shi Yong, Tang Guo, Tang Maohong, Wei Guangqing, Wu Yiming, Xiang Liqing, Xue Song and Zhang Enli.
In particular, this exhibition selects works by two of the most important contemporary artists from Nanjing—Mao Yan and TangGuo—to show the city’s unique place in the Chinese contemporary art scene, while the excellent works of Nanjing's young artists recommended by Tang Guo are also on display.
