“Mock Up---Architecture and Life Style Exhibition” will be a brand new start for MoCA Shanghai in which the relationship between people and living space, architecture space and metropolis will be discussed.
Based on “Reconstruct, Break and Present spaces”, we provide visitors with another possibility designed for real life by architects, designers and artists. Breaking conventional ideas that museum spaces, exhibition modes and ordinary visiting way, the exhibition most likely enables visitors to interactive with architects, designers, artists and their works, and to naturally blend in their art spaces. Every corner of life will be full of art.
Under the purpose of “Closely related to current Chinese People’s Life”, exhibition halls will be reconstructed, presented and divided according to different architects or different theme. The original halls become a living space that is separated into a living room, a study, bedrooms and bathrooms, etc. and accommodates 10+1 people. Archtects are invited to discuss about the space.
MoCA Shanghai will hold a series of art events in the exhibition halls, such as curators’ and artists’ talks, designer salons, small concerts, book clubs, etc., which really reflects publicity and activity of the public space.
