Zhang Enli's solo exhibition "After Emptiness" opened on November 12 as one of the chapters of "Roots: The 8th Art Changsha in 2022" at the Hunan Provincial Museum. The "Roots" comprise three solo exhibits of Chinese artists: Zhang Enli's "After Emptiness", Wang Yuyang's "The Marvelous Clouds", and Su Xinping's "Long Journey", respectively. The exhibition is curated by Sun Dongdong and focuses on the historical continuity between Chinese contemporary and modern art.
