The exhibition conducts an interdisciplinary experiment between historical archaeology and digital art. With concepts and methods of digital art, the exhibition covers the works displayed in the world's vital exhibits including Kassel Documenta, Venice Biennale, the Linz Festival, etc. Along with the historical context of Hunan and the national treasures of the Hunan Museum, audiences will have an in-depth dialogue with the artworks. Liang Shaoji’s installation work “8” is juxtaposed with the Plain Unlined Gauze Gown from the Western Han Dynasty to tell the story of silkworm and silk spanning thousands of years.
