Since the modernist movement in the early 20th century, many art practitioners have taken on multiple roles. Black Mountain College played a crucial role in Integrating this cross-border and mutually inspiring movement. These participants have different identities and social attributes, among which the experiment jointly constructed by architects, dancers, physicists, art critics and students is jokingly called the “Supine Dome”.
Although it eventually collapsed, the event was insignificant because it symbolized the fundamental meaning of Black Mountain: a group of interdisciplinary researchers and artists who integrate art with life, learning and entertainment.

Today, we hope to break down the rigid dimensional barriers and invite art practitioners from various working sectors. These individuals have historically contributed to content presentation, exhibition setup, academic positioning, and Implementation of programs for artists
.They served as bridges and links in various links, and subjectively often needs to be hidden in these work processes. In this exhibition, those hidden bridges and obscured and superimposed parts are revealed, and the exchange of identities is also a process of divergent thinking.

This exhibition, jointly presented at ShanghART M50 and SUHE HAUS
, selecting the hidden artworks by 53 art workers (with multiple identities). By rejecting the commercial attributes of art pieces and bridging inherent identities and positions, the exhibition presents a pure feast of art. In this context, their conscious or unconscious choicesare profoundly enlightening because of their accurate statements.. Behind these aesthetic or non-aesthetic features, the primary condition is to present the hidden self rather than an obsession with "finished products." These different configurations act as a healing and supplementation to the system.
