The small pop works of Tang Maohong reveals far thoughts of our daily world. A few thousands handmade pictures form his own wave. Landscapes’ pictorial mode of the Song dynasty is mixed here with a world of characters having sexual intercourses and winding flowers winding. Tang Maohong whishes that his artworks can give to the screen of time some trifles. These images are all daily trifles; there are all common elements of our life and imagination. Politics, childhood, internet, sex, government, history, bagua, explosion, body, illusions, he, she, it, may include art. In this solo exhibition, his new work, even though it only lasts for a few minutes, gathers pop images condensing a world of characters.
