The sculpture artwork Object is a new piece the artist conceived for this exhibition. Marked by its minimalist contour, the work is aimed at subverting the cold, hard linguistic model, using the rich textures of its physical medium to reflect on minimalism’s dogmatic adherence to the absoluteness.
An arrangement of two framework cubes and multiple horizontal rectangles stands as an abstraction of the logic of urban architectural structures, which reflects the latent relationships between the solidity and emptiness of sculptural space.
