Jiang Pengyi’s latest work Duty (2015-2016) adopts a more radical creation method in succession to Inconsolable Memories and Abyss, making the Polaroid 8x10 Color Instant Sheet Film which has expired for more than a decade and almost lose efficacy results in fulminic colors and forms, only by squeezing, twisting, roasting and soaking, without any influence of light and shadow.
