Geng Jianyi printed these black and white photos (shot from 1990s to 2000s) on light box surface, he gradually painted colour on it with special glass paint, the black white photos are firmly locked under the pigment layer, which is also an early method of coloring black and white photos, as well as a process to getting close to the old memory.
