Yang Xuelan (American, Retired Vice-president)
I dreamed to be a diplomat when I was young and liked literature a lot.  Therefore, I chose this job after my retirement, helping American enterprises finding ways to enter Chinese market and letting Americans know more about China.  There are many talented young people in China and I want to help them go to the outside world. I would be very happy to see them succeed.  The work is stressful but it's kind of fun for me, I enjoy my work very much.  I won't achieve anything if it's too easy.  I like challenges and longing for work every morning.  I think every one lives to do something for his country and society.  I always feel I need more time because there's too much work to do.
