Consisting of seven color photographs, Zhu Jia captures the ‘ critical embarrassment ’ from a daily life scene, like these group of young people. One of them holds a microphone to ' sing nearly like shouting without caring anything ' , the other people are just standing together, with dismissive and indifferent expression on their face which forms a sharp contrast, reflecting an undercurrent of suppression and surveillance as the background . Privacy is carefully opened and exposed in front of the group of observers. Zhu Jia also put a seemingly irrelevant parrot into this series, to remind audience that gorgeous feather and good language skills, lack of companionship and limited freedom are related with the similar atmosphere and scene. The beautiful appearance and excessive expression does not come from self-contained thoughts and open environment, it may be a performance, also could be actions under the enforcement.
