BLANKgallery is pleased to present a new group exhibition, The Human World, inviting sixty artists from Shanghai to join the show and inject a vibrant momentum into the Shanghai art season. Curated by Wang Yiquan, the exhibition is inspired by the song of the same name released by Chinese pop singer Faye Wong in 1997. The melodious voice and expressive and philosophical lyrics will form a parallel text to the artists' works, which will be woven together into the overall concept of the exhibition.
The Human World will open at BLANKgallery on November 11, 2022 from 4-7pm. On the opening night, BLANKgallery will also present The Human World Party, organized by the curator, at the electronic music scene POTENT club.
