ShanghART Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition "Not Related". "Not related" seems a kind of indifferent statement that marks the boundaries between various individuals. In the exhibition, we don’t discuss the relationship between people but artistic creation according to the different art works. Huang Kui, Xiang Liqing, Zhou Zixi were all born in the 70s, but their approach to art is totally different, and “not related”. This generation of artists originating from Shanghai grew up in a relatively independent environment, and they became independent individuals without the urge to identify as a collective. Since the development of contemporary art, art factions have increasingly watered down, and what is witnesses in the exhibition are three unique artistic oeuvres.
