This series originated from the artist's long-term observation and contemplation of peeling walls. This physical form causes the surface images of the wall to follow the cracks and warping of the plaster, leaping from the two-dimensional world into three-dimensional space. Fascinated by this physical form and the relationship it reveals with the images, the artist attempted to simulate various forms of peeling and cracking on paper through laser engraving, endowing them with different images. In some works, glimpses of another image beneath the surface can be seen through the cracks, creating a unique dialogue between the two layers. This series attempts to showcase the fragility of images and their physical mediums.
