Spinning Cube 2018 presents a column composed of two 60 cm width gold-plated cubes. The lateral faces of the upper rotative part all converge in a perfect single vanishing point perspective towards a hollow center. The various surfaces of the work reflects and disassembles in a constant swirling movement its surrounding and light as a prism.

Spinning Cube 2018 pursues Zhang Ding's cube series of works and his recurrent use of mirror and gold as core elements in his practice.
