The series of cloth collages “Spread” is created by XU Zhen® since 2010, working with a variety of mediums. The series takes global political cartoons as foundational element, collaging, combining and constructing a chaotic image system with multiple value systems. The series include acrylic on canvas, cloth collages, cloth sculptures and cloth toys.
