Responding to the pandemic situation, Studio Plesungan aims to connect performance artists within the narration of distance, body, and awareness in relations to our natural environment. In the Performance Art Laboratory (PALA) Project and Undisclosed Territory #13, “Performing Distance” entitling our gaze to seek possibilities in developing performance works. The online laboratory which has happened from December 11th , 2021 until February 8th, 2022 has given a lot of opportunities for the participants for a broaden dialogues and contextual exchange. During the last two months, participating artists have developed ten new works which will be presented in Undisclosed Territory #13 on February 16th, 2022, in Surakarta and on February 19th, 2022 in Yogyakarta. Due to the restriction for visitors during the pandemic, only limited numbers of public may witness their live performances on site. Nevertheless, you may virtually witness through our live streaming platform on Youtube channel.
As the closing event, we will live stream our Artist Talk program with all of the participating artists on February 20th, 2022 at 07:00 PM ICT which you may join in our Zoom platform as well as from Studio Plesungan’s Youtube channel.
