Constructed using wood offcuts from his previous projects, the sampan (small boat) built by Tang Da Wu signifies how everything has a place and how the existence of each person, object, and space are interdependent of each other.

The sampan lays on its side, having been entwined by an imaginary serpent. The movement of the sampan has ceased. As if the serpent is helping to seize the time, allowing it to stop in its track and hold on to the moment a little more.
