In 2007, I created a soundproofed room in the Macao Museum of Art, and set up the space similar with the classroom. Every metal desk are loaded with ink, and I placed a woofer on it. The woofers are controlled by six short wave receivers, there will be different noise frequency interfering at different time interval. Therefore, the noise will affect the ink, and that is a physical metaphor for “the ripple effect”.
