Birdhead creates a distinct world from a massive proliferation of images of their home city, revealing the distinct lens of an urbanized generation.
Today is a group of photographs that plays on elements which most worlds consider outside the strict realm of photography proper - traces of darkroom handling, special framing materials, and the look and feel of exhibition walls. The content of their photographs acts as footnotes to their previous works, and as the darkroom seems to place certain newness on their photographs and portraits, Today explores the question of how photography should be displayed.
