1963-Father and Mother

During 1960-1963, the natural disaster put the whole country into darkness. Lack of food starved thousands of farmers in China, which led to the starvation in the urban. In 1960, my mother gave birth to my sister. But due to poor nutrition, my mother and my sister were not that healthy at that time, and they did not get much attention from my father as it was a girl. When the natural disaster nearly ended, a baby boy was born which brought much joy to the family. My father then started to take a good care of my mother. They had a few years of happy marriage life.
